What was your favourite subject at school?
I quite liked maths believe it or not.
Art, I am rubbish at drawing.
Do you have a nickname?
If you had to be classified as a member of a “generation” which wouldit be?
What was the first record that you bought?
Probably Take That.
What was the last concert you went to?
What did you want to be when you were at school?
What was your first job?
How did you start in the pensions profession?
Through temping at Prudential.
What is your favourite book and film?
I couldn’t possibly choose a favourite book, I love so many. Same with films.
Do you support a sporting team?
I’m from a family of Manchester United fans but I like to see Reading do well. They seem to be on the up!
What three adjectives would your colleagues use to describe you?
Approachable, forthright, undaunted.
What aspect of pensions legislation or provision would you change if you could?
Any piece which makes things far more complicated that it needs to be.
In your opinion who is the most irritating person in the industry or public eye?
Who is the most influential person in the pensions industry?
Should saving into a pension be compulsory?
Pension or ISA?
What is your worst habit?
Biting my nails.
When was the last time you lost your temper?
Really lost my temper, about a year ago.
What was the last “bargain” you got?
A pack of three baby vests for 4p in Tesco!
What is your favourite meal and drink?
My mum’s roast lamb and a Jack Daniels and Coke.
What is the biggest bet you ever placed and did you win?
Probably about £10 spread over a few horses at the National and no I didn’t win.
Who would be your ideal dinner guest?
What was the last country you visited?
How do you plan to spend your retirement years?
I don’t even know what I’m doing next week.
